The Effectiveness of a Combination Therapy in an Advanced Uterine Cancer with Neoplasic Infiltrative Lesions

 

Clinical case: Caucasian female of 62 years old. Uterine carcinoma with hemorragy diagnosed in May 2007 (RMI – Biopsy etc.) chemotherapy/radiation protocol.

 

Introduction: Chemotherapy/radiation is not very effective on an operable large tumor with a metastasis condition. In this case we have a tumor of 6 cm wide demonstrating extensive infiltration neoplasic lesions to the wall of rectum, possible invasion to bladder and many large adenopathies of about 2 cm localize to iliac territory, ganglions and peritoneal area as show by the RMI.

 

From our clinical experience and by the number of cancer patients coming to our Institute we observed that indeed anticancer drugs treatment may decrease to some extend large (non resistant) tumor and eventually eliminated or reduce few adenopathies but never in totality. While in the same time the mainstream treatment may develop strong adverse effects and affect the health condition of patients. Radiation in turn may induce inflammatory process to stimulate metastasic invasion and may burn to some extend tissue with damaging effect including to bladder.

June 2007 – The patient come to our Institute in bad physical condition from adverse effects of chemotherapy: fatigue, vomiting, nervousness, poor appetite, etc.

 

We build up a protocol base on a combination therapy that includes a natural chemotherapeutic agent to target cancer cells, an antiangiogenic therapy a immunomodulator support to balance the immune cells activity.

 

Usually lower from chemotherapy an antioxidant therapy to combine a double role of antioxidant and prooxidant, meaning to decrease oxidative stress on healthy cells but selectively to increase cytotoxicity to cancer cells. The goal is to target cancer cells in many directions as possible and by the same time reduce or eliminate toxic adverse effects.

 

An agressive diet is suggested to boost the immune system. Food include whole grains, cereals, stem vegetables, shitake mushroom, barley soup, onions, kéfir, sesame oil, fresh daily vegetable juice and fruits.

The patient follows the treatment includes the diet during 5 months up to now (October 2007). After 2 months the large tumor decrease by 50% (3 cm) and after 4 months a new RMI shown a complete therapeutic response with a total elimination of the large tumor. Additionaly there is a visible complete regression of all the adenopathies include from the wall of the rectum and vaginal canal. The patient feels much better with no adverse toxic effects.

 

At hospital doctors were completely astonished of such quick result even with chemotherapy alone. They asked patient what she was doing and seem to be satisfied and indeed told her that in such rare occasion, no radiation treatment was necessary anymore.

 

 

Comment

The result obtained in 4 months time as observed on the hospital reports (and RMI) before and after is quite impressive while it eliminates the need of radiation therapy which has a controversial role in uterine cancer and may even increase metastasis expansion as observed in many cases. First we have clearly demonstrated the synergistic effect of our combination therapy.

 

L.C.E. may inhibit making of new vascularisation but also induce apoptosis of blood vessels reaching the tumor. The antioxidant compound Anoxe decrease oxidative stress, inhibit COX2 activity that in turn decrease angiogenic factors. COX2 overexpression is linked to chemotherapy and radiation treatment resistance in patients with most tumors. With much less resistance and by conjointly attacking the tumor via cytotoxicity of anticancer drugs high dose of antioxidants and less vascularizarion the tumor start to shrinke and therefore can be more vulnerable to immune cells activate by the immunostimulant Biobran.

 

The result is an increase in the number of cancer cells destroy jointly by chemotherapy and the immune system. Simultaneously we demonstrate that antioxidants do not interfere with the effectiveness of chemotherapy but on the contrary increase the cytotoxicity. We also demonstrate that LCE has strong angiogenic inhibitory property by targeting the angiogenic cascade from several direction and to increase chemotherapy effectiveness.

 

Medical doctors are confuse and mistaken when they say that “shark cartilage” is not beneficial but also decrease survival in cancer patient. We have a case of pancreas cancer with metastasic condition and awaiting for chemo/radiation.

 

In meanwhile in 2 weeks time taking only LCE – CA 19.9 decrease from 132 U/ml to 101 U/ml.

 

Ukrain is a natural chemotherapeutic agent made from an extract of the chelidonium plant majus that demonstrate strong cytostatic activity against cancer cells. Ukraine has shown an immune modulating effect with smaller doses (5 mg) and a malignocytolitic effect with larger doses (20 mg).

 

We have use Ukraine with success for now a member of years and observed better result on large tumor when include in a combination therapy like in this particular case but indeed Ukraine is a pillar in our cancer treatment.

 

Therefore in this particular cancer case we simply shown that alternative medicine is on the contrary of doctors claim much efficient and simultaneously with chemotherapy increase remission rate and may indeed achieve clinical result totally impossible with chemotherapy alone.
